Just Like That

Dedicated to Leonore Fine

in memory of ancestors and those passed
yet, still live on.

Just Like That

Leonore’s light, appeared bright
against that black sky
when stars aligned
Just like that my friend is gone, just like that she’s gone.

So many memory filled, seasons passed by
stars changed course
she’s returned to the source
Just like that my friend is gone, just like that she’s gone.
Wave curling free, once again the sea
Her love lives on in the heaven of my heart

Seeds of life exist long before birth

Just like that my friend is gone, just like that
Wave curling free, once again the sea
Her love lives on in a forest’s awakening dawn
Her love lives on in every bird’s song
Her love lives on in cool evening breeze
Her love lives on in berries so sweet
Her love lives on in the heaven of my heart
Just like that my friend is gone, just like that she’s gone.

  1. Hi David! So beautiful, thank you for posting this. Would it be possible to post the words as well? They’re audible, but could be even more understandable if the written lyrics were there. Then we could also sing along..Lyn
